A new forest fire was reported in the region in recent days.
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources' Aviation, Forest Fire, and Emergency Services says one new "wildland fire" was confirmed by late Friday afternoon: "Wawa 4", which was a tenth of a hectare in size - east of Beaton Lake and Highway 631 - though it was called out over the weekend.
