Wawa's Tim Hortons is thanking the community for its support in the annual Smile Cookie campaign.
$2542 was raised through the annual campaign late last month, supporting THRIVE, the former "Children's Rehabilitation Centre of Algoma".
Speaking before the campaign, occupational therapist Jamie Kirk noted the support would mean a lot for the local office.
THRIVE is a multi-disciplinary team that provides services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology in the community, daycares, schools, and the home environment to children of various ability 0-18 years of age.
