Wawa's Adult Learning Centre is thanking the community for its support of a special fundraiser.
The North Algoma Literacy Coalition says its "Literacy Lottery" ended up reaching its goal, which will see over $2000 go to the coalition itself and more than $2000 go to the Rotary Club of Wawa to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, as explained by Executive Director Pat Dube.
Claiming the top prize of $1250 in President's Choice gift cards is Connie Taylor, while Elaine Christensen won the second prize of $750 in PC gift cards, and Gordon Draper won the third prize of $500 in PC gift cards.
