Efforts Continuing to Implement Chapleau's Naloxone Program

Efforts are continuing to set up a naloxone program for firefighters and police in Chapleau.

As Council approved plans to get naloxone kits for the local fire department earlier this year, Mayor Michael Levesque says the process of preparing for their use is continuing - and he's praising some local help.

While an agreement's been reached, Mayor Levesque notes the Township still needs to implement a by-law to "make sure everything is copacetic", though naloxone could still be administered in the meantime, if necessary.
