Wawa residents will be lacing up their shoes to fight cancer this weekend, as the annual Terry Fox Run arrives for its 39th year.
Organizer Brian Lachine notes this year's event will be slightly different from previous years.
Lachine says organizers hope to grow the event again this year, noting last year's run had over 100 participants and raised nearly $5900.
Wawa's Terry Fox Run will be hosted at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre - registration starts at 11 am Sunday morning, with the run starting at 12 noon.
