Organizers Thank Supporters of Memorial Eddy's Hockey Day

Organizers are thanking supporters of a special fundraiser at Dubreuilville's arena last weekend.
The "1st annual Memorial Eddy's Hockey Day" was held Saturday, raising over $1700 for ALS Canada as three adult mixed teams and two kids teams - with players from Dubreuilville, Wawa, White River, Marathon, and Timmins - hit the ice for a day of fun, honouring late Dubreuilville ALS activist Eddy Lefrancois, who passed away a year ago.
A statement from organizer Eric Levesque thanks the organizing committee, the players, and fans who showed up, adding that "Eddy will never be forgotten by his community and the surrounding".
