Wesdome Expects to Meet Full Year Guidance Despite Q3 Dip

Despite a production slow down over the last quarter, Wesdome Gold Mines says it's confident it'll hit full year guidance at a local gold complex.
The Toronto-based miner says just over 20,000 ounces were produced at the Eagle River underground mine and Mishi open pit during the third quarter of the year, down from the previous quarter's more than 25,000 ounces and the third quarter of last year - which saw nearly 29,000 - though Wesdome points to annual planned mill maintenance and the upgrade of the hoist control system at Eagle River.
That brings 2020 production-to-date over 70,000 ounces, in line to reach this year's guidance of 90,000 to 100,000 ounces.
Wesdome also notes the amount of ore milled was up - surpassing 56,000 tonnes - with Mishi seeing a 5553 percent increase over the third quarter of 2019.
