Wawa Municipal Council will discuss Halloween and many more topics in back-to-back meetings tonight.
First up is a Corporate Planning Committee, which includes a COVID-19 update with guidelines for Halloween, along with discussion about a draft Code of Conduct for Employees, the municipal procurement policy, the Golf Club's licence to occupy, and a vulnerable persons registry.
That will be followed by a regular Council meeting, which includes a staff report on the procurement policy, as well as a by-law for an agreement with the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre and Acorn Information Solutions for the vulnerable persons registry.
Chapleau Council approved a similar agreement last week.
There's also a single "in-camera" item, a legal issue relating to staffing.
Aside from the "in camera" portion, the meetings will be livestreamed on the Municipality of Wawa's YouTube channel, starting at 6:30 tonight.
