A Chapleau high school grad's being honoured with a special award for his performance last school year.
The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon says Patrick St-Amand of Ecole secondaire catholique Trillium in Chapleau is the recipient of the Governor General's Academic Medal for the 2019-2020 academic year.
It recognizes St-Amand's "dedication to his studies" and "exceptional knowledge", as the medal's awarded to the student graduating Grade 12 with the highest average.
