Another COVID-19 case has been reported in Algoma.
Algoma Public Health says its 41st case is self-isolating after being tested on Sunday - it's unknown how they were exposed, considered evidence of ongoing community spread in Sault Ste. Marie and area, where all but five of Algoma's cases have been located.
This leaves Algoma with two "active cases".
It comes after Public Health Sudbury and Districts confirmed its 114th case, leaving it with four "active" - all in Greater Sudbury - while the Porcupine Health Unit confirmed its 92nd case, leaving it with five "active" - two are self-isolating outside of the health unit's region.
The neighbouring Thunder Bay District Health Unit has no active cases at this time.
