More COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the region.
Just hours after declaring an outbreak at a Greater Sudbury high school which has seen three cases, Public Health Sudbury and Districts has confirmed its 124th case, stemming from close contact with another confirmed case - it leaves the health unit with twelve "active" cases, all in Greater Sudbury.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit's also reporting a new case, its 115th, also stemming from close contact with a known case - this leaves that health unit with five "active" cases, all in the Thunder Bay area.
Meanwhile, Algoma Public Health has two "active" cases - both in the Sault Ste. Marie area - while the Porcupine Health Unit has seven "active".
