Wawa Municipal Council's set to hold its final meetings of the year.
First up tonight is a Corporate Planning Committee meeting, to include a report on the limited predator control hunt approved by Council, reports on closed meeting investigator services, a municipal government wayfinders proposal, and the new municipal website, memos on the waterfront project's final cost and a land use agreement with the Wawa Sno-Riders, and the EDC's 2021 core funding request.
Many of those will come back up in the following regular meeting of Council, which will also include a resolution to authorize discharge of firearms for the limited predator control hunt, and by-laws on the appointment of the Cemetery and Marina Committees.
There are also three "in-camera" items: a legal issue about employee benefits; a legal issue about the proposed sale or acquisition of land; and a personnel issue, a staff update.
Aside from the "in-camera" portion, the meetings will broadcast on the Muncipality of Wawa's YouTube channel, starting at 6:30 tonight.
