A Chapleau police officer's been promoted.
Superior East Ontario Provincial Police officer Clay Lane was recently presented with a new warrant card and badge, confirming his promotion from constable to sergeant.
Lane was with the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service for nine years before joining the OPP in 2016.
