Local police are asking for public help after a firearm and other items were taken in a Chapleau break and enter.
Superior East Ontario Provincial Police say the break and enter happened at a Cherry Street residence some time between February 13th and yesterday, with a 9mm GIRSAN pistol, a Garmin 64S GPS, and about $300 in Canadian currency taken.
Investigators have no suspects at this time, and urge anyone with information about the incident to immediately contact police or Crime Stoppers.
