Wawa's firefighters are thanking the community for their support, after a very successful fundraising campaign.
The Michipicoten Volunteer Firefighters Association's Annual Cash Draw sold out Saturday night, and firefighter Rob Sanderson calls that "awesome".
The big winner was Penny Grenier of Wawa - who claimed the $10,000 grand prize - while Sara Ouellette, Carol Hall, and Terrie Sanderson each won $1000.
