Wawa's own Denny Lambert is returning to Sault Ste. Marie hockey.
The Soo Thunderbirds Organization have announced the 50-year-old will serve as head coach and assistant general manager of the NOJHL team, joined by a mostly new staff behind the bench.
Lambert played over 500 games in the N-H-L, and was head coach of the OHL's Soo Greyhounds for three seasons, though he's most recently been a First Nations Police Officer with the Anishinabek Police Service.
