Another COVID-19 death's been reported at a Thunder Bay long-term care home.
Southbridge Roseview's website now shows 21 residents have died from the virus, while the Thunder Bay District Health Unit's confirmed the 23rd death in its region.
The health unit - meanwhile - has confirmed eighteen more cases in the Thunder Bay area - including one at Southbridge Roseview and fourteen linked to an outbreak at the Thunder Bay District Jail - bringing the health unit to 689, 83 "active" - including six staff of Southbridge Roseview - three of the health unit's cases are in hospital, including two in the ICU.
It has also declared an outbreak for a section of the Hogarth Riverview Manor in Thunder Bay.
Public Health Sudbury and Districts is reporting thirteen more cases in Greater Sudbury - bringing the health unit to 372 total, 71 "active" - while the Porcupine Health Unit's confirmed three more linked to an outbreak at Extendicare Kapuskasing, bringing the health unit to 167, 27 "active", including two currently outside of the region.
Algoma Public Health has 43 "active" cases - with one "non-resident case" currently in the region - including one person who's been hospitalized.
