A longtime Wawa firefighter's been promoted.
In their meeting this week, Wawa Municipal Council formally approved the appointment of Colin Black as a captain of the Wawa Volunteer Fire Department, filling a vacancy caused by a recent retirement.
A member of the fire department for twelve years, Black's one of three captains.
