More than a dozen COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the region.
Algoma Public Health's added just one in the Sault Ste. Marie area - the health unit's 408th, it stems from close contact with a known case, leaving the health unit with two "active".
Public Health Sudbury and Districts - on the other hand - is reporting twelve new cases since Friday, bringing its total to 2205.
Eleven of the cases are in the Manitoulin District, while the other is in Greater Sudbury, leaving the health unit with nineteen "active": four in Greater Sudbury, fifteen in the Manitoulin District - an outbreak was declared for Wiikwemikoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island last week.
The health unit's also reporting eight more cases confirmed or presumed to be variants of concern, bringing that total to 1009
In addition, PHSD is showing - overall - 81% of eligible residents in its region have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, including 100% of those eligible in the Chapleau area.
It shows 71.4% of those eligible in the health unit's region are "fully immunized", but does not break that down further.
