Ontario Provincial Police are warning against picking up hitch-hikers north of Batchawana Bay.
Sault Ste. Marie OPP say officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on Mile 67 Road around 4:30 this morning - the male driver had left the scene and was observed on a logging road in the area, and is still outstanding.
They warn he may be associated with a Sault incident involving firearms, asking drivers not pick up hitch-hikers and instead report an suspicious persons.
