Meanwhile, Council authorized a pair of funding applications, including one to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for work at the Recreation Centre - Mayor Levesque says this is unrelated to current upgrades to the arena washrooms.

Levesque explains the other application - to FedNor's Tourism Relief Fund - relates to restoration of the Museum and Heritage Train.

Council's also considering options for overnight recreational vehicle parking.

While Mayor Levesque acknowledges there are some places that are being used fairly commonly - such as behind the Town Hall or near Peace Park or the sewage plant - he says a designated area is being considered: the arena parking lot.
