An annual effort to support children in the Wawa area this holiday season came to a close over the weekend.

Wawa firefighters, police, and paramedics participated in the event, and Superior East Ontario Provincial Police Constable Ashley Nickle says they're "very happy" with the donations received.
The Christmas Hampers are going out this week.
