More COVID-19 cases are being reported in the region - but there are fewer active.
Algoma Public Health's reporting 79 new cases over the last week - 44 in the Sault Ste. Marie area, 28 in Central and East Algoma, and seven in the Elliot Lake area - though known "high risk active" cases are down nearly a third, to 113, with 25 in hospital, three in ICUs - both up from last week.
