A campaign supporting a Wawa tradition to help the needy is set to wrap up this weekend.
Fire Chief Kevin Sabourin explains the toy drive at Wawa's Red Apple store will end with a "Fill the Sleigh Day" tomorrow.
As part of the "Fill a Sleigh" event, Red Apple's promising to donate 5% of sales - with some exceptions - to the cause, which is the Wawa Christmas Hamper Fund - Fund President Richard Watson reminds provides several items to spread some seasonal joy.
Watson notes volunteers are also wanted to help out to put together the hampers on Sunday - anyone interested can contact him, including at the Fill the Sleigh event, or Robin Marshall-Davidson.
The Fill the Sleigh Day runs from 11 am to 2 pm tomorrow.
