More COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the region - including this area.
Public Health Sudbury and Districts is reporting ten since Wednesday: nine in Greater Sudbury, the other in the northern Sudbury District - it doesn't specify, but that area includes Chapleau, Cartier, Foleyet, Gogama, and neighbouring First Nations.
That leaves the health unit with 49 "active" cases.
The health unit only updates hospitalization figures late Wednesday afternoon, but last showed twenty in hospital, one in an ICU.
