The Wawa Public Library's marking Library Worker's Day with a special event.
CEO and Head Librarian Sue Jarrell explains today's plans.
Jarrell reminds October is Canadian Library Month, with everyone encouraged to "get loud for libraries" by showing their library card - or getting a new one - this month to be entered into a draw to be made at the end of the month - and kids are encouraged to take pictures with their carved pumpkin and send those in for a draw for a "Halloween surprise".
The social runs from 1 pm to 3 pm this afternoon.
