Wawa's library is hosting a local author today.
Wawa Public Library CEO and Head Librarian Sue Jarrell explains local Ontario Public Library Week festivities include a "Meet the Author" event.
Jarrell notes October's also Dyslexia Awareness Month, and the library is marking that, too.
Jarrell also encourages people to "get loud for libraries" this month, getting or showing off their card at the library to be entered into a draw to be held at the end of the month.
The Meet the Author event will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm tonight.
