Young chess masters are gathered in Wawa today, for École Saint-Joseph's tenth Franco-Nord-Ouest Chess Tournament.
Teacher/organizer René-Guy Nobert says the tournament's come a long way since it was started in 2014.
Nobert notes special prizes this year.
Doors will be open during the tournament, if members of the public want to see the event, which is held at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre.
