Preparations are underway as young chess masters will be gathering in Wawa later this month.
Wawa's École Saint-Joseph is preparing for its tenth annual Franco-Nord-Ouest chess tournament, and teacher/organizer René-Guy Nobert notes there is still some room for more participants.
Nobert says it is open, but with a caveat.
Players will be divided into age categories for competition.
The tournament will be held in two weeks, on Wednesday, May 20th.
