Organizers of Wawa's annual President's Choice Children's Charity Barbecue are thanking the community for its support.
The eleventh annual event held earlier today at John's Valu-Mart was able to raise $1130.05.
That money will be used to support the P-C Children's Charity, which helps families of children with special needs.
Congratulations are also in order for Damjam Van Binda, the winner of the barbecue and propane tank used for the event.
Sponsors for the event included the Algoma Ice Man, Canadian Tire, Davidson Fuels, Old Dutch Chips, Weston Bakeries, John's Valu-Mart, and JJAM FM.
