Wawa residents are being invited to a free barbecue.
As last week marked "Victims and Survivors of Crime Week", Wawa and Area Victims Services is celebrating with an event for the community, as explained by Executive Director Beverly Boyd.
Boyd emphasizes that the local organization is frequently supported by a core group of volunteers and collaboration with other local organizations.
The barbecue starts at 11 this morning, in the lot between the OPP detachment and the Post Office.
