More COVID-19 Cases Reported in Region

More COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the region.

Public Health Sudbury and Districts confirmed five new cases over the weekend, all in Greater Sudbury and either travel-related or through contact with a travel-related case.

It brings the health unit's total number of reported cases to 123, eleven of which are "active" - all in Greater Sudbury.

Meanwhile, the neighbouring Porcupine Health Unit confirmed two more cases in the Hearst and Hornepayne area - it currently has eight "active" cases, including four in the Hearst and Hornepayne area and two self-isolating outside of its region.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit confirmed four new cases over the weekend, all in the Thunder Bay area - one is travel-related, another from close contact with another case, and the other two are currently unknown.

This brings the health unit's total to 114 cases, five of which are "active".

Algoma Public Health currently has two "active" cases.
