More COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the region.
Public Health Sudbury and Districts confirmed two more cases over the weekend - the latest in the Manitoulin District - bringing its total to 244, with nine currently "active".
The neighbouring Porcupine Health Unit's confirmed its 117th case while warning of possible exposure on an Air Canada flight from Toronto to Timmins December 2nd and an Air Creebec flight from Timmins to Moosonee the following day - the health unit currently has four "active" cases.
Meanwhile, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit's reported thirteen new cases in Thunder Bay - including four at the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home - and oe more in an unspecified "district community", bringing the health unit's total to 436, 118 of which are "active", including one in a hospital ICU.
Algoma Public Health - which reported its 62nd case on Friday - has two "active".
