Wawa's firefighters are thanking the community for supporting a tradition helping the needy in the community.
Fire Chief Kevin Sabourin says the community was very generous during Sunday's Christmas Hamper Holiday Food Drive, with food donations similar to past years.
Sabourin also thanks staff at St. Joseph French Immersion, who assisted with the drive.
The food and funds raised support the annual Christmas Hampers, which will be distributed to needy families later this week.
