More COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Marathon - and another nearby community.
Less than a week after reporting its first case, the Marathon Family Health Team says two more cases were confirmed in that town earlier this week, leaving it with three "active".
Meanwhile, Sante Manitouwadge Health says it has been notified of the first positive test result in Manitouwadge.
While the Thunder Bay District Health Unit has reported a few cases in "district communities" in recent days, it doesn't specify which communities.
So far, Algoma Public Health has not reported any cases in North Algoma.
