32nd COVID-19 Case Reported in Algoma

Algoma Public Health's reporting another case of COVID-19.
The health unit says its 32nd case is in the Sault Ste. Marie area, and stems from international travel - the individual's self-isolating and close contacts have been notified.
They're the second active case for the health unit, which recently declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Sault Ste. Marie's FJ Davey Home.
The health unit's reminding everyone to practice physical distancing as any close contact could be a close exposure, further emphasizing that masks or face coverings must be worn in all indoor public spaces in Algoma, as well as other settings where physical distancing can't be maintained, and indoor private gatherings are limited to no more than ten people by law.
The neighbouring Thunder Bay District Health Unit's also reporting a new case in the Thunder Bay area, the health unit's 106th, leaving it with two active.
Public Health Sudbury and Districts still has three active cases out of the 102 it has reported, while the neighbouring Porcupine Health Unit has five out of 81 still active.
